GBS procured a design package from Hexagon (Germany), and has also developed its own in house to stimulate any design before it starts manufacturing any new product design offered by its customers also suggesting improvements if any. It is hereby clarified that the above mentioned design / stimulation (simulation) means recalculating (through the proven formula’s provided in BIS/DIN standards which are worked on physical calculators / licensed software from Hexagon, Berlin) the values given in the physical drawing provided by the customer.  This exercise is only conducted to check the design provided by the customer weather if conforming to BIS / DIN standards.

GBS has a tie up with the Institute of Spring Technology (IST), U.K. for Design(done by IST) and Development.

GBS successfully developed and manufactured springs for Train 18 (Vande Bharat Express), Indian Railway.
